A GP surgery which cares for nearly 3,000 patients has been placed in special measures by the Care Quality Commission (CQC). Long Street Surgery, at Two Steeples Medical Centre, in Wigston, has been given six months to make improvements. CQC inspectors, who visited the surgery in April, found a series of failings.
