Travellers have set up an unauthorised camp on a busy Leicester traffic island for the third time in a fortnight.Three caravans pulled up on the Red Hill Circle overnight.Last week a group of French and Swedish travellers stopped on the island, on the outer ring road, near Birstall, before being served an eviction order.Within days of that group leaving another had replaced them before they moved on to Victoria Park.Mat Bagley, of the Multi-Agency Travellers Unit (MATU) said the latest incursion...
