Five cars were involved in a shunt in the outside lane of the M1 in Leicestershire last night.The crashes happened on the northbound carriageway of the motorway between junctions 21A and 22.Speed restrictions were imposed while officers from the Highways Agency helped get the vehicles to safety on the hard shoulder after the incident shortly after 6.30pm.Fire crews from Coalville and Leicester's southern fire stations were sent to the scene and helped make the vehicles safe.It's understood...
