Three fire crews were called out to a block of flats today after a pan of food was left unattended on a cooker.The firefighters were alerted at 2.11pm to the pan blaze in a kitchen in a fourth floor flat in Putney Road, Freeman's Common, Leicester.The blaze was out by the time fire crews from Central, Eastern and Wigston stations arrived.There was slight smoke damage to the kitchen.A fire service spokeswoman said: "We would urge people to never leave a pan unattended while cooki
