A Government health watchdog has found the NHS 111 service across Leicester, Leicestershire and Rutland to be an effective, caring and responsive service.It follows a visit by the Care Quality Commission (CQC) to the main call centre, Mallard House, in Derby, which provides health advice and assessment to patients.The announced visit was part of a pilot for a new inspection programme so the service, run by Derbyshire Health United (DHU), was not given an official rating.However, inspectors said:...
