A puppy had to be rescued by firefighters after becoming trapped between the walls of two houses.
Crews were called to a property in Hawthorne Street, Newfoundpool, Leicester, shortly before 6pm this evening.
A spokesman for the fire service said it was the puppy's owner who raised the alarm.He said: "We received a report of a four-month-old terrier stuck between two exterior house walls."People could hear the young animal crying and a vet was also called."
