A driver had to be treated by paramedics after two cars collided in a village street in icy conditions.
Firefighters were called to the crash scene in Barwell at 8.20pm yesterday.
The collision occurred in Dovecote Way at the junction with The Common.
A fire service spokeswoman said: "The collision involved two vehicles one of which hit a lamp post."Paramedics treated one person at the scene."
The fire crew made both vehicles safe.
