Homeless people living on the streets or in hostels in the city centre over the festive period were treated to a Christmas party.
The seasonal spirit of giving and good cheer was clearly evident at Leicester Market yesterday evening, where a banquet was laid on for more than 100 people.
Men, woman and children attended the joyful celebration at the invitation of volunteers with Leicester's One Love organisation.
