A disused historic pub in Leicester could be demolished as part of wider plans to regenerate the city's run-down waterside area.
The Ship Inn, on Soar Lane, was bought by Leicester City Council, last year for £185,000, and the 1930s building is likely to be flattened if the authority approves a planning application on Thursday for a 15 acre site around it.
