The Deputy Lieutenant of Leicestershire Neil Francis Townsend has died at the age of 87.Former magistrate, army officer, health authority chairman and leading county businessman, he died at home in Market Harborough on November 14 from lung cancer.His widow Jean said: "A thanksgiving service will be held at St Dionysius Church in Market Harborough on December 2 at 12.30pm."It will follow a private interment service being held at Narborough that morning.The Enderby Band will play at the...
