A pedestrian is in hospital with serious injuries after he was involved in a collision with a car.
The 54-year-old was injured in Belgrave Road, Leicester at 8.45pm on Tuesday.
He was taken to Nottingham's Queen's Medical Centre where he is said to be in a stable condition.
Police have appealed for witnesses to the collision, which happened near the junction with Loughborough Road and involved a white Vauxhall Astra.
