One Leicestershire zoo is hoping a national day will help raise the awareness about one of the world's most endangered species.
Today has been labelled World Gibbon Day in a bid to highlight the plight of the primate, with many of its 15 species on the list of animals that are under serious threat around the world, so much so that 2015 has been named "Year of the Gibbon" by the International Union for Conservation of Nature (IUCN).
